the last,and the best
I woke up early Saturday morning, and took a 7.30am bus to KL. A tiring 4.5 hour journey where I couldn't make myself go to sleep. It always happen that I can't sleep if I want to and vice versa.. Well,I reached KL about 12pm and took an LRT to Kelana Jaya. As I was about to step out of the LRT, I saw a familiar face.. and..horror of horrors.. my boss was there!! no sh*t!!! we had a short exchange of "oh so surprise to see you" and "what the godzilla are you doing here" and boring stuff like that then the LRT door closed.. still a bit shocked to see him coz he was still in the office when I left at 5.30 yesterday. Hahah..
Well, anyways, met up with my sis and off we went shopping in the curve and ikea and tesco. didn't do much at night except watch TV at home.. have not been watching TV for a long long time so it was quite an enriching experience :p american idol.. bahh..
On Sunday, poor sister had to work.. no kidding. So I took an LRT to KLCC myself and did some shopping at Isetan, which was having a 3 day mega sale. Wanted to meet up wif yanying but turn out she was in Times Square. After that,I went to Sentral and ph picked me up, for the 4th OCF gathering in Bangsar. It was raining tigers and giraffes when we got there, so we were quite soaked by the time we got into the restaurant. The food was quite good, especially the signature xiao long bao which had a juicy interior. After the dinner, the 14 of us went to Outback, a drinking hole near (or in?) Bangsar Village, where more catching up with each other was done.. very thrilled to meet up with the OCFers.. considering I've not been going to church for a long long time.
Monday was definitely the highlight of the trip.. I went to get my visa electron card at BSN.. which was actually why I came down this weekend..heheh.. Now I have a credit card! yeah people.. my life is quite boring. like i said before.
After another 4 hours of bus ride, I'm back to the island again.. and for another day of work tomorrow..

I then took the LRT to chee cheong kai. yan ying was on time for the appointment, although I was 10 minutes earlier..hehe. I can't believe we are meeting again after 3 years.. The meeting at the airport 3 years ago is still fresh in my mind. What a strange and unique relationship we have, and how things have turn out to be that I could never have foreseen 6 years ago.. surreal it was indeed the moment I saw her. We went for breakfast in chee cheong kai.. which turn out to be a 2 hour brunch and catching up with each other. For all that I've done to her, I still could not believe she's willing to entertain me, come down all the way from wangsa maju to see me and even 3 yrs ago to the airport to send me off.. she teaches me the meaning of real friendship at what a timely moment. Indeed this made my trip to KL so much more meaningful this time around, if not the best.
