Started off the last week with a working trip to Brisbane.. Had to get up so early on the monday morning to catch a cab to the airport.. flight was an agonising 2 hours. Picked up our car which was a Hyundai Getz.. I have to say, it's such a amazingly lousy car. no pickup, no power, and as clarkson would say, no character! training was not too bad, actually found it quite interesting the first day.. was a wonder i stayed awake considering i slept 4 hours the previous night. For dinner, we went to this spanish bar restaurant in Fortitude valley in the city.. Had paella and tapas... ate until so full. It's so nice to splurge on food when you don't have to think of the cost of it.. can just order what you feel like it and go for a full course meal. Our hotel was the same one.. this time the room that I got was so warm for some reason.. couldn't really nap there in the evenings..

On the 2nd day after training we went to this indian restaurant in a suburb abt 45 minutes drive away.. the food was allright but wasn't great.. the curries were very hot though. On the way back, got caught in the traffic jam on the highway because of the stupid roadworks. Slept at about 3am that night.. fortunately training the next day starts at 12.30pm.. went to Coffee Club for breakfast, had the eggs benedict with bacon.hahaha.. training practical in the afternoon was quite interesting.. actually learnt stuff that will be useful i think! after the training, drove to the airport to catch our flight out which was at 7pm. Had dinner at the pub before that.. this is gonna be our final training in Brisbane.. something tells me I'm not gonna miss this place. hahaha.. except for all the free meals!

Came home, Thursday was just another normal day, went to wash my car after work, but it rained like half an hour after that.. dang! .. Friday.. went out for lunch at Crown with colleagues.. then after that came home to sleep for a while before ocf.. was kinda raining a bit that night. After ocf, sent some people back to their colleges and homes.. when i was just about to head home, saw zk and jack heading back so drove them home.. after that pl msged asking to go back to church..so went back there where they were all jamming.. then 3 of us charles pl and I went to hungry jacks for supper.. the maribyrnong united gang.. haha.. came home around 1.30 then slept at abt 3..

In the morning.. went to pick charles up and then went to sitcom to pick jamie and wl.. charles drove to gold leaf in burwood after that for our bs social. Had quite high expectations for this place after hearing so much good things about it.. but all we did at our table was COMPLAIN! the food wasn't really that nice.. some more we were seated at the far end of the kitchen hence the food that made its way to us were probably the leftover ones after the good ones were taken by earlier tables.. Didn't even have chicken feet! After the social a few of us went over to crystal's place, where she was cooking food.. sat around.. played mahjong.. my first time playing in a long while.. had to get them to teach me again! after that started downloading some iphone games and just went crazy playing it.. Hung around until about 8pm (that's when her housemate returns), then went to tapao kfc before heading to sitcom house to eat... Rented rush hour 2&3 to watch for the night..Ended up the guys were watching soccer and the girls watched rush hour.. haha.. came home quite late around 12 plus after sending charis,michelle and PL home..

Sunday was a bit late for church..after church crashed shake's group social at sitcom house.. made burgers ... and later on played scattergories. after most of the group left, we went to princess park to find the soccer gang.. couldn't find them and ended up jogging around for a bit.. then went back to sitcom house.. I came out to buy ice cream at safeway lygon but was just circling around for so long looking for a spot to park! in the end parked at the basketball court.. met michelle there and then bought some ice creams and went back to sitcom where they made wantan for us... about 9pm, went to belgian beer cafe at eureka towers.. about 12 of us were there.. tonight apparently is the buy one free one night for the mussels.. I'm not a big fan of mussels but have to admit that the mussels were damn good. after the beers and the mussels, can't believe we still had the energy to go back to sitcom.. and watch a msian show called Woo Hoo! I didn't really understand the cantonese they were speaking and there were no subtitles! but some of the words they used were funny and helped keep me awake. after that jack came to sleepover at my place for the night.

The next morning, woke up around 8am.. so early man!! long weekend's supposed to be the time where I catch up on sleep, but what am I doing!! went to fetch PL at 9am.. came to my place and we watched 72 tenants with jack.. quite a funny show with a cny ring to it. was having some pillow fight after that... afterwards drove to macdonald's at flemington to drivethru and got some lunch. went to brother's house to eat it while waiting for jack to change.. then after that went to melbourne uni badminton court to play badminton. played a bit but not much.. felt more lazy than ever! after the badminton we went to safeway for a while to buy snacks.. I waited in the car while they bought the stuff.. after that we went to sitcom house.. watch I Not Stupid Too. still nice although I've watched it before. After the movie, when the rest were either going soccer or minding their own business already, sent PL home and then went to safeway to get dinner..

That's how I spent my anzac day long weekend! free and easy weekend indeed.. when is my next long weekend?? this weekend.. hopefully..

this whole week.. have been thinking a lot.. discovering things that I'm not sure I want to discover...other than that, i've been having to put up with so much crap at work.. mainly things out of my control.. which just leads to more work for me, more chasing up to do! It gets frustrating at times..

Didn't do much after work weekdays.. came home didn't do much as well.. Man.. I'm so wasting my life away.. Friday.. saboed zk's room after work.. gladwrapped almost everything in the room.. then went to ocf.. after ocf made up some story to go his place.. sent home grace to king st, then headed to sitcom.. blasted music so loud in my car.. was worried it was gonna get some stares from passerbys.. silly girl in my car. after that headed to sitcom and took a while to get zk to go to his roomm.. after taht.. it was.. waaa laaa.. gladwrapped charles' car after that.. ended up trying to gladwrap him to his car like what he did to me last week.

On saturday.. had bbq at flagstaff gardens.. almost the whole ocf was there.. was the most pleasant weather we had all year too! sun was out, some clouds, and 27 degrees! nice food and company too.. had some interesting conversations after bbq on the grass.. after that, went to sitcom for a while before heading to crown for buffet dinner at kitchen workshop. about 13 of us were there.. for 30bucks, it's not that much different from sante's.. so not really recommended.. but the setting and ambience is top class I have to say.. after dinner , just walked along the river.. took some crazy photos.. then went back to sitcom to watch .. rumor has it. was so sleepy after that! went to brothers house to see wat they were doing and then left a bit after that.

Sunday.. had church lunch.. then went to get gelato before heading to basketball. didn't play much.. just sat around and talked.. talk crap more than talk useful stuff.. lol. after basketball we went to brother's house.. dapao'ed KFC then just ate there.. such a lazy sunday afternoon! sent lois home then came home soon after..

going to Brisbane for 3 days.. why am I so sick of Brisbane?

why is it so hard to get our priorities right? I've been thinking, how often do we regret not having our priorities correct after we have stumbled and there's no return.. how scary a thought it is.. to be doing the things we do now motivated by our priorities.. but in the end realize that we did not do anything to achieve what is supposed to be our higher priority. not sure if i'm talking sense here.. so i'll just stop now..

Came back from Japan.. was so sad the moment I touched down..back to reality.. called housemate when I arrived and they were all at the airport also, sending barbara off to Singapore. She shed some tears.. was quite emotional i guess? haha.. after that , went home to sleep for a while.. can't really remember the rest of the night..

Work the next day, gave colleagues some of the candies I bought..was quite pissed with one colleague making stupid remarks. Soccer on tuesday at the north melbourne community centre.. wasn't such a great venue.. plus we had to play in the dark for the final hour.... then thursday was just packing to go to belgrave.

Belgrave.. was a great time of fellowship and learning .. the speaker was chris chia.... reminds me of a few years ago when he was here.. i think it was the 2nd or 1st belgrave I attended.. 1st time I drove to belgrave,, remember last time it was such a headache to organise transport.. but now it's so simple.. stayed for the whole 3 nights.. the last night was just so crazy with me jack and pei ling.. laughed so much.. for no reason at all! was so dead by the time we go back to the city.. went to daniel's place to scum for a bit, and then dinner at kum den.

After Belgrave, the next week at work was bludgy.. coz boss wasn't around.. hahaha... my birthday.. was just another normal day at the office.. nobody knew it was my birthday anyway.. blahhh.. Had a cake during supper.. then we went to universal pizza for supper.. 8 people!

Saturday was church picnic.. picked neil,michelle and pei ling up.. was at a park in Doncaster.. It was quite good, although sometimes I feel that I should talk to the church uncles more? But seems like I'm always talking to ocfers... After the picnic we went to brother's house.. played cards for a bit.. poker.. ahaha.. at night went for my birthday dinner at oriental spoon.. haven't been there in a while.. dinner was quite nice.. after dinner, we walked home to brother's house to get some dvds to watch at sitcom house.. little did I know that they had saboed my car by gladwrapping it! And to think that I did NOT notice it when it was parked just right outside brothers' house.. for about 5 minutes! They gladwrapped me to my car too.. siao! after that we went to sitcom house to watch The Holiday.. was such a slow movie! came home around 1am after that. Church the next morning.. had projector duty! after church we went to singapore chom chom (again). then went to brother's house to change before going to basketball. the weather is so cold now.. brrr.. after the bball, had dinner with some at chinatown.. scummed home after that feeling so tired.

And now it's monday again...
