say hello, wave goodbye
As most might already know, I have fired my boss and said farewell to my company of 9 months. As much as I loathed the company and the job, I have to say that the position had thought me many invaluable things, not so much in a technical perspective but in a professional and relational perspective. Indeed it has also opened up a lot of opportunities which I am grateful for. As they say, the grass is always greener on the other side and this time the other side will be Melbourne! It's hard to imagine a few months ago I was wallowing in despair but just at the last moment things seem to take a 180 degree turn and everything fell into place in the end, just as I had always dreamed it to be.

So my last weekend in Sydney, what did I do? Well I'm boring so I went to the Opera House LOL. I mean, what else has Sydney got right?

Coincidentally there was a dress rehearsal for the Australian Idol finale to be held the next day

Sadly there weren't any real stars except for former Australian Idol contestant Jessica Mauboy

The most interesting thing was that there were about 20 television cameras around the place.

Then I went to Martin Place and the Christmas decors are up. Here's the biggest Christmas tree in Sydney.
I can't wait.. it's been a long time coming. Melbourne here I come!
