hmmm.. updates?. Was feeling kinda low last weekend so the reason for lack of update. But all is good now yay. Some of you may know what I was stressed about. :p Had a real surprise from Melbourne coming in the form of a box with lots of lame but thoughtful paraphernalia on the occasion of my birthday last week. Was pretty overwhelmed actually when I opened up a box full of melbourne-y stuff. Haha..

Well, I think I've pretty much settled into the routine of work. Hopefully things will get exciting soon , with some traveling in the pipelines. It's scary that a third of the year has gone by already..

Public holiday tomorrow! It's days like these that you live for. Ermm.. Haha. Blasphemous right. Plans? I'm going to Blue Mountains with barney's people. It's been raining for twelve straight days in this city. Drought? What drought? Hopefully it'll be nice and sunny up in the mountains. And time to get that d40x out for a spin.

I had a friend come over to stay over the weekend, which was nice. And I finally applied for my PR on Saturday. Hopefully can get it under 6 months. I can't stand walking around in shopping centres. My eyes get too tired. After sorting out some chores, I took a bus to the city from Parra. Didn't realize it takes nearly an hour. I love it as the city comes into view as the bus comes in from the western suburbs. Was meaning to walk the whole length of George St just to see what's there. There's also Pitt St Mall which is parallel. But then I stumbled into Kinokuniya, and spent almost an hour there. Then my eyes started becoming really tired already . Took the bus up the stretch instead, and ended up at World Square. Very nice building with fantastic architecture. Then I decided, heck, I'll just go home. So that was my Saturday. Haha.. Sunday was more eventful. Went to church, then lunch at the usual Thai place. After that, we went to this nice coffee connoisseur place near Newtown. Saw this very strange accident where the driver rammed the whole car into a fence. Lady driver. Anyway after coffee,went to The Rocks to have dinner at Pancakes. Nice pork ribs! heheh.

Oh, how I miss the exercise I had every Sunday at basketball. Would love to play some sports but no kaki here.. Oh well. Also have not been doing what I intended to do-pick up the new hobby which is photography. Sigh.. Work consumes the mind, not just the body. I realized.

As I look back at the many years the Lord has blessed me with, the experiences that I had the opportunity to savor, and the friends who remembered although I'm far away, this quiet birthday seems not so bad after all.
