Here comes my weekly update.

The week was rather okay considering I had made major progress on the project assigned to me. Besides that, the trainee makan escapades are becoming more incredulous (1 hour breakfast and high tea?!?!) as the new batch of trainees came in.
Monday passed,Tuesday came, Wednesday was gone, Thursday too, and TGIF!! My carpool buddy 'ffk-ed' me and my housemate at the last minute on Friday evening and I had to hitch a ride with JC on a motorbike. Whew.. that was only my 2nd time being a pillion rider. He was talking to me almost non-stop on the bike and I'm like.. *concentrate..concentrate..look at the road man..* Thankfully I didn't get my limbs torn and shredded by a 5 ton truck as we went through the bayan lepas industrial zone.
Reaching home, I had 5 minutes to grab my bag and then off we went to Gurney Plaza with the bunch of trainees. A friend introduced us to the celebrity gym there and we were there to go for the free trial. Had to go through a boring introduction by the staff there while we pretended to be interested. I must say the gym there is the best I've ever seen although I'm certainly no expert in gyms.. hahaha.. First time I've been to gym since.. err.. 2-3 months i think. Didn't expect to be going to gym in Malaysia really..:p
After gym, we went to the food court near ping hua school to have our dinner/supper. Tried curry noodle (which didn't impress) and char koay kak. Interestingly, Kuching people call it just char koay. But a penangite tells me that calling it char koay will make it get confused with char koay teow. Me: *speechless*.. (kak means 'squarish' in Hokkien, for the benefit of non-Hokkien speaking people, which by the way, is the preferred dialect of smart people like me..hahaha) .. well the char koay didn't impress either, the texture was too soft for my liking.. sorry but didn't take pictures la..
I reached home around 1am coz I was dropped last.. Didn't sleep till about 3, then woke up this morning at 7 to play basketball at USM. It was fun playing with my housemate's colleagues. But I got my spectacles ruined.. thankfully it's my old one. After basketball we went for breakfast at a food court called supertanker. Breakfast over, we went to bukit jambul by bus. Bought a few things there which I'm quite happy about..hahaha..
Ok.. that's a very fast weekend there.. as is always the case. Anyways, I managed to book SIX free tickets from AirAsia's free 1 million tickets giveaway. Only the tax surcharge applied.. sadly all the bookings are not for me. So to those that are applicable, there's still a lot of free tickets to be grabbed.. one advice though... have a cup of cold water beside you so you can have a drink to calm down and prevent yourself from slamming your knuckle into your laptop's lcd.. coz, trust me, you'll point your cursor on the 'reload' button for a looonnggg longggg time.. :)
