Tomorrow will be the last day I'll be employed in Motorola Technologies, Penang. On one hand, I feel relieved that my training is over. But at the same time, I leave with a heavy heart, because my time here has been very interesting, unforgettable and enjoyable. The band of trainees here has definitely made this chapter of my life much more colourful. In a short amount of time, we have grown so close, though it is undoubtedly 'our main purpose' that has united us..
I'll certainly miss hanging out with these bunch of interesting people, checking out samples at our usual spots, the wednesday delights (our moto- free food!! or isit 'sharing is caring' ?? well I guess both can apply) , our occasional 2 hour lunches, misusing company property ( like burning some epoxy), printing at some particular printer just so that we can see that cute girl sitting beside it, wearing the 'colourful' and attention grabbing motorola uniform to a public place... and many more adventures and misadventures we get ourselves into.

Certainly I learned a great deal in Motorola..not just technical stuff, but soft skills which I found out to be really important. A 20 minute presentation capped off my training on Monday evening, though it was not attended by my boss which had a really urgent issue to handle. But anyways, it was all good.. and I felt very relieved after it was over and done with. We went to Cat's place later on to watch the video from the birthday, and almost laughed our heads off watching ourselves.
Last night, there was a farewell dinner for the 4 of us who are finishing the training. Venue was Egate, Old Town restaurant. The dinner was good, although I felt a bit sad at the thought of having the last dinner with them. We headed to Starbucks after the dinner and played cards until they literally chased us out of the premise. sheeesh...

There was also a farewell lunch for me and Razif thrown by my colleagues in the MOL team. We went to Johnnie's at Queensbay for the set lunch. I certainly feel blessed to be part of this team, because we had absolutely fantastic and sporting mentors who were not only our colleagues but also became our friends in this two months of training.
On another note, I'm flying back to Kuching on Friday morning. Kolo Mee, traffic-less roads, cat statues, gu bak mee, my family and friends, here I come!!
