wow.. it's been a while eh? can't believe i've ignored the blog for so long. all because my stupid laptop decided to die on me.. just when i needed it the most! oh well i've got a new one now.. Ouch to my wallet. anyways, where was I?

well it's been a crazy period.. after malaysia I went to Brisbane for training.. went up a few days earlier to go to the Gold Coast, which turned out to be quite enjoyable. We stayed at a backpackers and went to surfers beach and MovieWorld. Not my first time there but nevertheless fun with different company.

Training in Brisbane was quite the aimless.. but we enjoyed the city and went to a few nice places to eat all on company expense of coz.. hahaha.

So the week after Brissie, I had my driving exam, which I passed thank God!! was worried that I'll stuff up but really lucky to have passed and not screw up during the exam. And then I bought a Civic, my first car bought with my sweat, blood and tears! hmm probably not the blood and tears.

Oh yeah work's been really crazy too. Had to work weekends and long weekday hours for about a month on a project with ridiculous deadline, and just found out last Friday that we could have finished 2 weeks earlier than scheduled if not for a stupid mistake someone made interpreting the project scope! arghhh the agonyyy.. oh well the overtime pay will pay for my petrol at least. hahaha..

the melbourne cup weekend brought a bit of relief from work.. my first proper weekend for a month.. and a long weekend at that! so I thought of organising a road trip just to test out my car's endurance and suspension..hahaha. Decided to go to Daylesford since there seems to be a lot of things to do there. We manage to go to the largest single drop waterfall in victoria (which turned out not that large anyway), a lavender garden with a nice cafe and emus, lake daylesford, Camel's Hump lookout point, Mineral springs (where we tasted awful tasting water) and Memorial Cross. Was planning to go to this quaint cafe for breakfast but it was closed.. The hanging rock was closed too when we reached it.. so nonsense man.. anyway I enjoyed the trip a lot! all of us became quite high by the end of the trip.. and kinda freaked michelle out.. hahaha. went to laksa king for dinner after that.. was barb and michelle's first time there i can't believe it.. lol. So then we were invited to watch this movie 500 days of summer at nova. So since we were already out I thought might as well go all out right.. so we went and watched.. at 11.30pm. Was quite a nice show . I'd give it 9 out of 10.

I love breakfasts!! After the breakfast a few of us went to Williamstown to enjoy the sun.. it was a bit too hot i reckon..

Gonna be a busy month ahead.. have to move temporarily to altona and look for a place to stay starting february..hopefully can find a place that's not too far from the city! workwise, there's a brisbane trip in early dec and hopefully an nz trip in late dec.. ah this year is passing by too fast!!
