This has been a most emo week.. Gb's back for her graduation...Friday afternoon we went to Charlie's Place on a famous Melbourne cafe lane, a place with dodgy looking entrance but was actually a very nice underground cafe. Had a nice time hanging out.. indeed the thing with old friends is that they may change but what is unchanging is our faith. Well yeah, but gb is still the same! haha..

It was a gloomy day but as we were taking photos the sun emerged from among the clouds. So it's kind of like our uni life.. Sometimes we feel we are so down, so unmotivated and so disillusioned, but just at the right time God sends us angels in the form of friends, at times to rebuke us, at times to pick us up, at times to push us on, at times to cheer us, and at times a shoulder to cry on.



"Tuntutlah ilmu hingga ke menara gading".. that's an old Malay saying which means to seek knowledge to the pinnacle of ivory. haha.. direct translation. But you get the point. Serene's achieved that indeed. My turn will come soon enough. The sweat, blood and tears will perhaps be worth it in the end..
